Yangsan City Holds 2025 Public Contest for Improvement of Livelihood Regulations

Ideas for Improving Livelihood Regulations in Employment, Jobs, and Living Environment
Submissions Accepted Until June 13

Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province, in cooperation with the provincial government, is holding the "2025 Public Contest for Improvement of Livelihood Regulations" from May 12 to June 13, 2025, to identify and improve unreasonable regulations in everyday life.

The contest covers areas such as employment and jobs, small business and SMEs, living environment, and welfare, targeting unreasonable regulations that affect all aspects of daily life. However, non-regulatory matters, simple complaints or petitions, and proposals already adopted by other organizations are excluded.

Any Yangsan citizen can participate in the contest by completing a proposal form available on the city hall website (Yangsan News → Latest News) and submitting it via email, mail, or in person at the Planning and Budget Office of Yangsan City Hall.

If a submitted proposal is selected as an outstanding project, the winner will receive the Governor's Award. The top prize winner (1 person) will receive a reward of 500,000 won, two excellence awardees will each receive 300,000 won, and three encouragement awardees will each receive 100,000 won.

Kim Kyungsook, Director of Planning and Budget, stated, "A small idea for regulatory reform can bring about significant change," and urged, "We hope for active interest and participation so that substantial regulatory reforms that citizens can truly feel can be achieved."
