RaonMeta Launches Major Update for 'Metademy' Service... Expands B2C Offerings

RaonSecure's subsidiary, RaonMeta, announced on May 26 that it will officially launch B2C (business-to-consumer) services for its metaverse-based hands-on training platform, Metademy, through a major update.

RaonMeta, a company specializing in generative AI-based metaverse platforms and led by CEO Lee Soonhyung, has carried out a large-scale update for Metademy, expanding its B2C content lineup, adding new content, and introducing multilingual features.

This update aims to expand B2C services by making existing B2B (business-to-business) content available to individual consumers, while enhancing user convenience and accessibility. Until now, Metademy has established itself as a hands-on training platform for B2B clients such as universities, hospitals, public institutions, and companies, helping to resolve issues related to the high cost of equipment and space limitations, and improving proficiency through repeated practice. With this update, subscription-based hands-on training content for general customers has been significantly expanded, allowing users to access a variety of training content without restrictions on time or location.

Through this update, 11 types of previously B2B-exclusive content?including laboratory animal autopsy training (the world's first), nursing skills, and physical therapy?have been made available to B2C users. In addition, new hands-on training content has been added across various fields such as industry, healthcare, and basic sciences. In the industrial sector, content such as forklift operation offers practical training opportunities to users who face high education costs and limited practice opportunities when obtaining certifications. In the medical field, new content includes head and neck anatomy, which allows practice without cadavers, and nursing skills specialized for motion recognition. With the addition of a total of 11 new training programs, Metademy now offers the largest metaverse content lineup in Korea.

Notably, RaonMeta has introduced multilingual features, including English, to create an environment where overseas users can conveniently access Metademy, laying the foundation for global market expansion. Globally, big tech companies are expanding into the metaverse sector by combining generative AI, extended reality (XR), and other technologies, further activating the metaverse market. The company expects that the multilingual feature will serve as a bridgehead for entering the growing overseas market, and plans to sequentially add languages tailored to each target country, starting with English.

Additionally, an adaptive web system has been implemented to ensure stable website access across various environments, improving usability on mobile devices and tablets. The menu structure has also been reorganized to better match the learning flow, making it more intuitive.

Yoon Wonseok, Head of the Metademy Business Division at RaonMeta, stated, "With this update, general customers can now freely utilize a wide range of Metademy’s hands-on training content anytime, anywhere. Leveraging our generative AI and Web3-based platform technology, we will continue to expand the diversity and accessibility of our training content, strengthen our multilingual capabilities, and grow into a global metaverse-based hands-on training service provider."
