Yongin City Recruiting Participants for 'Youth Second Character Challenge Project' Supporting Young Instructors

This project, which has been implemented since 2021 based on a proposal from the Youth Policy Network, supports young people in developing their own specialized content and becoming instructors.

The city provides capacity-building education and strength-based coaching so that selected youth can demonstrate their abilities in various fields. In addition, it offers opportunities for teaching practice through citizen classes and a certain amount of instructor fees.

Alongside this, the city helps foster youth activities by building a senior-junior instructor community through mutual networking between graduates from cohorts 1 to 4 and new trainees.

The project will select 12 participants. Eligible applicants are young people aged 18 to 39 who reside in Yongin and have less than one year of teaching experience. Those interested can check the details on the Yongin Youth Portal "Cheongnyeon Erang" and submit their application via the QR code online link. The city will notify successful applicants individually on June 25 after document screening and interviews.

A city official stated, "We will provide opportunities for local youth to showcase their passion and talents based on their own content," adding, "We hope that young people will enhance their teaching capabilities and grow into creative talents through this program."
