Gyeonggi Job Foundation Recruiting Companies for "Saeil Women Intern Program"

The Gyeonggi Job Foundation's Gyeonggi Regional Saeil Center for Women will operate the "Saeil Women Intern Program" until the allocated budget for this year is exhausted, aiming to support the reemployment of women who have experienced career interruptions in the province and to help them adapt to the workplace.

The Saeil Women Intern Program is designed to provide women who have experienced career breaks with opportunities for work experience and to promote employment retention, thereby supporting stable reemployment. Both companies and interns wishing to participate can apply at any time throughout the year. Participating companies can alleviate their labor cost burden, while women can gain opportunities to restore their careers.

Eligible applicants are companies with between 5 and 1,000 regular employees that are enrolled in the four major social insurances. Only companies with no employment adjustments resulting in resignation and no record of wage arrears by the end of the program are eligible to apply. Selected companies will receive support for intern recruitment and employment retention incentives.

The support amount is up to 4.6 million won per person. During the three-month internship period, companies receive up to 2.4 million won, with 800,000 won paid monthly as an intern recruitment subsidy. If the intern is converted to a regular or permanent position and employed for at least six months after the internship, the company receives an additional 800,000 won and the participant receives 600,000 won as an incentive. Companies that retain the employee for 12 months or longer receive an additional 800,000 won.

Companies wishing to participate in the program can receive counseling and apply through the Gyeonggi Regional Saeil Center for Women (031-270-9800) or a nearby Saeil Center for Women. Once selected, the eligibility review and support process will be completed within approximately two weeks. Early application is recommended, as the budget may be exhausted quickly.

The Gyeonggi Job Foundation expects that this program will expand employment opportunities for women who have experienced career interruptions and provide tangible benefits to both companies and intern participants.
