On the 25th, Kim Moonsoo, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, stated, "I am someone who has never forcibly admitted my brother or anyone who opposes me to a psychiatric hospital," adding, "Before becoming president, shouldn't I first show proper respect to my brother? What would happen to the entire nation if someone like this became president? I promise that I will never become a president who insults my sister-in-law."

During a campaign event at Gongsanseong Fortress in Gongju, Chungnam on the same day, Kim said, "Can someone who apologizes to the public but refuses to apologize to his own sister-in-law, whom he insulted, truly be respected as a president? The president must be a clean person who does not lie. I will become an honest president who is not corrupt."

He further emphasized, "Lee Jaemyung tried to forcibly admit his own brother to a psychiatric hospital," and added, "Haven't you heard all the insults he hurled at his sister-in-law? I have never once insulted my sister-in-law."

Kim continued, "Right now, the Democratic Party holds 193 seats in the National Assembly. They are using the National Assembly to impeach the judge presiding over their own trials, to impeach the Prime Minister, and even to impeach the President. If this continues, how can the Republic of Korea function?" He appealed, "We must stop this kind of dictatorship. Please make sure to vote decisively on June 3rd to make Korea a true democracy."

He went on to say, "The Republic of Korea is at a crossroads. Will jobs be created or not? People are not getting married, not having children, and things are very difficult," and evaluated himself by saying, "When I was governor of Gyeonggi Province, I created 10 out of 10 jobs in Korea."

Kim asserted, "To create jobs, for stores and businesses to thrive, taxes must be reduced," and added, "We need to educate people so they can work honestly. If people work without lying or stealing and are honest, wouldn't that help companies and businesses succeed?"

He especially criticized, "The president is single, goes around lying, and receives and gives money for various reasons, and in this process, several people have died," and added, "The vice governor is serving seven years and eight months in prison for giving money to North Korea. If the vice governor is like this, how many years do you think the governor should serve?"

He pledged, "I will create a Korea that is good for doing business and for running stores by creating many jobs," and promised, "I will make Korea a great nation with world-class heritage, where many tourists visit Gongsanseong Fortress and there are plenty of things to see, hear, and enjoy."
