Decorating the Fashion Show Stage and Experiencing World Cultures
Jin Gyohoon, Mayor of Gangseo District in Seoul, stated on the 24th, "Multiculturalism is not only about respecting and understanding diverse cultures, but it is also a very important factor in strengthening South Korea's social inclusion and global capabilities." He added, "Gangseo District will continue to make every effort to create a society without discrimination, and a creative and inclusive society."

On this day, Mayor Jin attended the "10th Multicultural Festival and Family Event" held at the Gomdallae Culture and Welfare Center in Hwagok-dong, where he communicated with local residents.
Mayor Jin, dressed in a hanbok, enjoyed the festival with residents by joining students from the Department of Modeling at Digital Seoul Culture Arts University on stage for the World Traditional Costume Fashion Show. Introducing himself, he humorously said, "This is Jin Gyohoon, the short model mayor," playfully referring to the height difference between himself and the students, which drew laughter from the audience.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the "Multicultural Festival and Family Event" is a festival where residents of various nationalities and backgrounds come together and unite. Under the theme "Togetherness is Great, Diversity is Rich," a variety of programs were held in four categories: performances, hands-on experiences, cooking, and sharing.
