"Expectations for Rational Healthcare Policy Formation"
A total of 1,138 doctors nationwide have publicly declared their support for Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae Myung.
On the 24th, they held a press conference at the Democratic Party headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, stating, "Candidate Lee Jae Myung is the right person to establish rational healthcare policies that involve not only unilateral decision-making but also the participation of medical professionals and the public, and to revive essential medical services that are on the verge of collapse."

They went on to emphasize, "We agree with Candidate Lee's awareness of the issues, including his pledge to hold those responsible for the 'deterioration of healthcare' accountable, to establish a rational fee system, and to implement practical measures so that medical students and young doctors can return to their medical education sites."
The press conference was attended by Seo Jeongseong, Vice President of the Korean Medical Association, and Kang Sunwoo, a Democratic Party member of the National Assembly Health and Welfare Committee.
