The party's Fair Election Law Support Group claimed in a press release that "On the 2nd, Kim Moonsoo, who was a preliminary candidate for the People Power Party, greeted five ordinary voters and took photos with them in front of the platform at the GTX-A Suseo Station train platform, after which he personally handed out his preliminary candidate business cards to those voters."

The Legal Support Group stated, "At that time, Kim Moonsoo, as a preliminary candidate, distributed business cards using a method prohibited by the Public Official Election Act. He also engaged in electioneering in a manner not permitted before the official campaign period. Furthermore, he openly committed these illegal acts in front of many people, even broadcasting them live on a supporter’s YouTube channel."

The Legal Support Group added, "According to the Public Official Election Act, distributing business cards is prohibited inside the ticket gates of terminals, stations, and airports, as well as on ships, trains, hospitals, and religious facilities. In addition, from the date the reason for holding a by-election is confirmed until election day, any distribution using illegal methods not allowed by law is strictly prohibited."
