Booyoung Group announced on May 23 that O2 Resort in Taebaek, operated by the group, will launch a 'Golf and Room Package' ahead of the upcoming golden holiday, which will last up to nine days next month.
The package is divided into three types of golf packages and three types of room packages. The golf packages are organized by course, including Baekdu, Hambaek, and Taebaek. Each combines accommodation with a round of golf, allowing golfers to choose according to their preferences.
The resort's golf course was designed by the renowned American design firm DYE. Located at an altitude of 1,100 meters, it allows for longer driving distances. All 27 holes utilize the natural terrain, and the fairways are covered with Kentucky bluegrass, providing a soft feel for shots.
The room packages are available in breakfast, barbecue, and all-in-one types. The breakfast package includes various room types such as Silver, Gold, and Diamond, along with breakfast as a standard offering. The barbecue package includes one night's stay and a barbecue for two people, which guests can grill themselves at the outdoor charcoal barbecue area, capturing the atmosphere of Taebaek, a former mining city.
The 'O2 Package' is an all-in-one product that includes accommodation, breakfast, and barbecue. It is suitable for family trips or couple anniversaries. All guests who purchase a room package receive a 10% discount at the resort's food and beverage outlets.
An O2 Resort representative said, "To celebrate the golden holiday in June, we are launching this 'Golf and Room Package' for customers planning a special trip to the pristine highlands at 1,100 meters above sea level," adding, "We hope you can relax and rejuvenate with family, friends, or loved ones in the clear and refreshing nature of Taebaek."
