Jinhae District Small Business Association Steps Up to Support Vulnerable Small Business Owners

Love Ramen Donation Ceremony Held with Proceeds from Gunhangje Festival

Jinhae District in Changwon Special City, South Gyeongsang Province, announced on May 23 that the Jinhae District Small Business Association held a Ramen Donation Ceremony of Love at the association's office to support vulnerable small business owners in the area.

The Jinhae District Small Business Association decided to share the proceeds earned from operating food booths during the recent Gunhangje Festival with the local community in celebration of Family Month in May. Since 2023, the association has consistently practiced sharing, and this year's Ramen Donation Ceremony of Love involved the donation of 200 boxes of ramen (worth approximately 3 million won).

The association, which provides opportunities, courage, and hope to local small business owners, plans to continue its annual sharing activities to support vulnerable groups.

Shim Imsuk, president of the association, said, "I am pleased that we are able to return the proceeds from the Gunhangje Festival booths, which were made possible by the participation of citizens, as well as our beautiful hearts like cherry blossoms, to local small business owners," adding, "Although it is just ramen, I hope it will be a source of warm comfort and hope for vulnerable small business owners."

Meanwhile, the Jinhae District Small Business Association supports local small business owners by communicating their difficulties to relevant agencies and promoting support policies for small businesses.
