On May 22, the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency conducted an "ESG & Investment Attraction Strategy" training session at the Seongnam Pangyo Startup Campus for companies selected through the shared company discovery and fostering project.
The shared company discovery and fostering project has been implemented since 2018 to support shared companies and prospective entrepreneurs who have been in business for less than seven years and share idle resources such as spaces and goods through online platforms.
This training was attended by nine companies that were selected for the shared company discovery and fostering project.

The agency organized this practical training to enhance the investment attraction competitiveness of early-stage shared companies, as trends focusing on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management and social value have recently become more prominent in the investment market.
The agency expects that, through education on establishing business strategies that incorporate ESG elements, shared companies in the province will gain a better understanding of the investment market and be able to establish a sustainable management foundation.
Kim Hyeongon, President of the agency, stated, "I hope this will serve as an opportunity for shared companies to effectively incorporate ESG strategies into their businesses and increase their chances of attracting investment," adding, "We will continue to do our best to solve local issues through shared companies and support their growth."
The agency plans to provide a variety of follow-up programs, including one-on-one mentoring and investment consultations for each company, as well as promotional support. In particular, the company selected as the best in IR pitching will receive a business development grant of 10 million won, and customized follow-up consulting will continue to support the growth of shared companies.
