Anseong City to Open Golden Castle Tower Parking Lot to Traditional Market Visitors

Parking Coupons Provided for Purchases at Anseong Jungang Market and Anseong Matchum Market

Gyeonggi Province's Anseong City announced on the 23rd that it held a signing ceremony on the 22nd at the Anseong Jungang Market Merchants Association office for an agreement with Golden Castle Tower and the traditional market merchants association to expand the opening of private parking lots.

With this agreement, the city will now extend the traditional market parking coupon subsidy program, which had previously only applied to public parking lots, to the private sector, specifically to the Golden Castle Tower parking lot.
Golden Castle Tower, located at 7 Inji-dong, Anseong City, is an urban-style residential complex with 299 households. Since it is situated at the south gate of Anseong Jungang Market and has 190 parking spaces, the city expects that opening it to market visitors will help alleviate parking shortages.
Under this agreement, Golden Castle Tower will open its parking lot on weekdays only, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors to Anseong Jungang Market and Anseong Matchum Market can receive a parking coupon after making a purchase at a store and submit it when leaving the parking lot.
A city official stated, "With this agreement, the traditional market side will secure additional parking spaces, while Golden Castle Tower will be able to generate revenue by utilizing idle space."
