The Department of Business Administration at Honam University announced on May 23 that twelve members and three faculty advisors (Youngchul Ahn, Xuehua Li, Eunji Choi) from the marketing clubs 'Job Hakdasik' and 'Brand Binder' recently conducted a company visit and practical experience event at 'Uridul Iyagi,' a public e-commerce shopping mall operator.

This event allowed students to experience the e-commerce marketing process of a local business and to combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills through on-site learning.

The marketing clubs 'Job Hakdasik' and 'Brand Binder,' newly established this year in the Department of Business Administration, are operated with support from the University Job Plus Center (Director: Kim Euna) and the Global Symbiotic Humanities and Social Sciences Convergence Talent Development Project Group's club program.

'Uridul Iyagi' operates several public shopping malls, including 'Namdo Jangteo' in Jeollanam-do, 'Gachisase' for the social economy in Gwangju Metropolitan City, 'Hampyeong Cheonjimall' in Hampyeong-gun, and 'Buksoe Mall' for small business owners in Buk-gu, Gwangju.

'Uridul Iyagi' runs a public shopping mall platform that connects products from local small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners online, leading efforts to revitalize the local economy and realize social value.

On the day of the event, the club members attended a special lecture on 'E-commerce Marketing and Brand Strategy for Public Shopping Malls,' which included an introduction to the company, targeting methods tailored to public shopping malls, examples of collaboration with small business owners, and the process of planning consumer participation campaigns. The session was followed by a Q&A segment with active student participation.

During the Q&A session with the CEO of 'Uridul Iyagi,' there was an in-depth discussion on differentiation strategies for public shopping malls, ways to expand online sales channels for social economy enterprises, and the latest trends in digital marketing.

The club members gained hands-on experience in e-commerce marketing by directly participating in tasks such as creating product pages and producing short-form content, allowing them to experience the overall operation of the e-commerce platform firsthand.

Yang Dongmin, Dean of the Department of Business Administration at Honam University, stated, "We plan to continue collaborating with 'Uridul Iyagi' and expand opportunities for practical experience in public e-commerce to further enhance our students' practical skills and career competitiveness."
