The 12th Busan Youth Open Festival, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and organized by Busan Youth Activity Promotion Center in celebration of Youth Month, was held on May 17 at the Green Plaza of Busan City Hall.

This year's Busan Youth Open Festival went beyond a simple performance event and was designed as a participatory event that blended youth-led culture and local policy. A total of 30 organizations, including the Busan Youth Comprehensive Support Center, participated and operated experience programs.

The Busan Youth Comprehensive Support Center operated three booths to encourage community interest and participation in issues such as the risks of running away and youth violence (including school violence and sexual violence). Through these booths, the center helped instill proper awareness among youth and citizens, and provided an enjoyable experience through hands-on activities.

The continuous efforts and diverse programs of the Youth Comprehensive Support Center, which supports the safe and healthy growth of young people, were recognized for their excellence through the experience booths at this event. As a result, the center was selected as an outstanding experience booth and received the Busan Metropolitan Council Chairman's Award.

Choi Seonkyung, Director of the Busan Youth Comprehensive Support Center, stated, "Our ongoing efforts to protect youth and promote their rights have borne fruit with this achievement at the event," and added, "We will continue to operate a variety of programs to ensure that young people can grow up healthy."
