The Gwangju Office of Education and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission will jointly develop integrity education content for students in the Gwangju region.

On May 23, Lee Jungseon, Superintendent of the Gwangju Office of Education, and Yoo Cheolhwan, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, signed a business agreement at the main office situation room to foster integrity talents and spread a culture of integrity in educational fields.


Under this agreement, the two organizations plan to continuously collaborate on several initiatives. These include developing and utilizing participatory integrity education content for elementary, middle, and high school students; improving systems to promote integrity education; and addressing areas of vulnerability to corruption within the Office of Education.


Chairman Yoo stated, "With this agreement, I hope that integrity education in the Gwangju region will become more active and that a culture of integrity will take firm root throughout the local community."


Superintendent Lee said, "This will be an opportunity for students to establish the value of integrity that they will carry throughout their lives and to help them grow into key members of an honest society."
