Currently, there are 16 integrated operation schools in Jeonnam, consisting of eight elementary-middle integrated schools and eight middle-high integrated schools. After 2025, two more schools are scheduled to be converted to the integrated operation model, and one new school will be established.
The training consisted of practical lectures on topics such as school accounting operations and integrated management of goods and property. It also included sharing of operational cases from each school and a Q&A session to address on-site difficulties. Notably, the Integrity Special Policy Team of the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education participated directly in the training, providing integrity education and introducing audit cases helpful for practical work. This was evaluated as contributing to substantial administrative improvement and the spread of a culture of integrity.
Kang Seonggeun, Director of Administration, stated, "I hope this training will be of practical help to those in charge of integrated operation schools, and at the same time, serve as an opportunity to further spread a culture of integrity within the organization." He added, "We will continue to expand administrative support that reflects the voices from the field to ensure the substantial operation of integrated operation schools."
Meanwhile, the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education plans to distribute an administrative manual for integrated operation schools and to provide ongoing practical training and support measures to ensure smooth operation of these schools.
