DS Dansuk, a global leader in resource circulation, announced on May 23 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea Energy Engineering University (KENTECH) for technological development and industry-academic cooperation in the future energy sector.
The two parties have agreed to promote the development of next-generation nuclear technology through joint research related to small modular reactors (SMRs). Under the MOU, they will collaborate on joint research and comprehensive technological cooperation in the energy sector; exchange data and information related to energy technology research and development; conduct joint research on SMR and micro modular reactor (MMR) projects; facilitate personnel exchanges for energy technology development and research; and make other joint efforts and provide support as mutually agreed.
A DS Dansuk representative stated, "We expect that the research capabilities of both institutions will create synergies and contribute to the formation of a new energy industry ecosystem," adding, "We will continue our ongoing cooperation to produce meaningful results in the future."
