This forum will examine the current state of quantum computing, which is drawing attention as a next-generation technology. It will assess its potential for industrialization and engage in in-depth discussions on strategies for building a robust ecosystem.
Han Sangwook, President of the Korean Quantum Information Society and Director of the Quantum Information Research Division at KIST, and Jung Heejung, Head of Quantum Computing at Pasqal Korea, will deliver keynote speeches. Panelists include Kim Yongseong, Vice President of SAIT at Samsung Electronics; Lee Joongu, CEO of Qunova (the first domestic quantum computer solutions venture); Kim Taehyun, Professor at Seoul National University; Jae Kyunghee, Director-General for Industrial Technology Convergence Policy at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy; and Kim Seongsu, Director-General for Basic Research Policy at the Ministry of Science and ICT.
Yoon Jaeyong, Chair of the NAEK Forum Committee, stated, "Quantum computing is now at a critical turning point, moving beyond the laboratory and entering the industrial ecosystem. I hope this forum will serve as an opportunity to assess the current level of domestic technology and to develop practical strategies for building a quantum industry ecosystem."
