Chosun University to Hold 'The Charm of K-Cultural Contents' Brunch Concert on May 28

Chosun University announced on May 22 that it will hold the '2025 Chosun University K-MOOC Brunch Concert' on May 28.

This event has been held annually since 2023 to introduce outstanding content from K-MOOC (Korean Massive Open Online Course), which is operated by Chosun University, and to promote a culture of knowledge sharing within the local community.

This year's concert will feature Professor Park Jaeyeon from the Department of Cultural Contents, who is running the course 'The Charm of K-Cultural Contents, With Design,' and Professor Choi Youngju from the Department of English Language and Literature, who is running the course 'Teacher Son! Please Teach Us Korean Sign Language.' Each professor will take the stage to give lectures.

Professor Park Jaeyeon will deliver a lecture on 'The Charm of K-Cultural Contents,' while Professor Choi Youngju will speak on 'Visible Language, Visible Mind: The World of Korean Sign Language.' After each lecture, there will be interactive programs such as a Q&A session and a lucky draw, providing an even richer experience for the audience.

In addition, there will be a screening of a K-MOOC promotional video, brunch sets provided for participants, various prize events, and a satisfaction survey participation event, among other side activities.

Anyone interested can participate by registering online in advance (limited to the first 150 people) or by signing up on-site on the day of the event. In particular, not only K-MOOC students at Chosun University but also local residents interested in K-Design and sign language are welcome to attend.

A representative from the Chosun University E-Learning Support Team stated, "K-MOOC is an open educational platform that is not limited by time or place," and added, "We hope that this brunch concert will provide an opportunity for Chosun University's excellent K-MOOC courses to connect more closely with citizens."
