Broadcaster Jo Hyeryun has formed the group 'Mechanism' together with the band Peppertones and released the digital single 'Broken Time Machine'.
On May 22, through Antenna, Jo Hyeryun shared her thoughts, saying, "If you dream, it will come true. I am truly thrilled and happy to be able to work as part of the group Mechanism with Peppertones, whom I have always loved. In my 33-year career as an entertainer, this is the most exciting and happiest moment. I will do my best."
Mechanism was formed as a result of a connection made on Yoo Jaeseok's YouTube channel 'Pinggyego', with Jo Hyeryun writing the lyrics and Peppertones handling the composition and arrangement.
The digital single 'Broken Time Machine' is a medium-tempo song with a clear and lyrical melody. It uses the metaphor of a broken time machine to poignantly express the longing to return to childhood, while facing the reality that it cannot be undone.
Additionally, the track 'Na Yojeum Pi Dwaetdae (π)' features a funky and groovy rhythm, enhanced by witty wordplay using 'pi' to create a lively and upbeat feel. Yoo Jaeseok participated in the filming of the music video.
