The Damyang County Cultural Foundation (Chairman Jung Chulwon, hereafter referred to as the Foundation) announced on May 22 that it will hold the 'Acoustic in Haedong' performance at 5:00 p.m. on June 6 at the Damyang Culture Center performance hall.

'Acoustic in Haedong' is part of a regional hub space activation performance program that has continued since last year. The program aims to enhance the quality of local performing arts and expand the region's cultural infrastructure by planning diverse content centered around Haedong Culture and Arts Village as a hub space.

This performance will feature the Molto Quartet, known for their modern reinterpretations of Bach's classical masterpieces. Led by bassist Sung Minje, the ensemble harmonizes bass, clarinet, and piano to present a unique stage that blends the structural beauty characteristic of Bach with jazz and contemporary sensibilities.

The repertoire includes Bach's representative works such as the Goldberg Variations and Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major. Through interpretations that cross between classical and jazz, the performance is expected to deliver a new sense of inspiration to the audience.

Tickets are priced at 15,000 won, with special discounts available for Damyang County residents. Reservations can be made by searching for 'Damyang' or 'Acoustic in Haedong' on the Ticket Link website.

A Foundation official stated, "We prepared this stage thanks to the great support received for last year's paid performance," and added, "We hope this will serve as an opportunity to further enrich Damyang's cultural ecosystem."
