On May 20, at its Seoul headquarters, Ourhome held the "Ourhome Vision 2030" proclamation ceremony and announced its mid- to long-term strategy, targeting 5 trillion KRW in sales and 300 billion KRW in operating profit by 2030, according to a statement released on May 22. This event was the first official ceremony since joining Hanwha Group, attended by over 400 executives and employees, including Executive Vice President Kim Dongseon and CEO Kim Taewon of Ourhome.
At the proclamation ceremony, Kim Dongseon officially joined Ourhome as Executive Vice President of Future Vision. He has decided not to receive any compensation until the organization stabilizes following the completion of the acquisition.
Kim referenced the late founder Kim Jonghee and Apple’s Steve Jobs, stating, "An entrepreneur is not simply someone who makes money, but someone who contributes to society through business." He identified key future priorities, including cost reduction through value chain expansion, streamlining preprocessing in production and logistics, and securing world-class kitchen automation technology. These philosophies and commitments will be reflected in Ourhome’s new business ventures. Kim stated, "We will achieve our goals with a sense of mission to deliver health and joy to people through excellent meals," adding, "I will do my utmost so that, in the future, Ourhome will be remembered as a leading company that positively transformed global food culture."
Ourhome plans to strengthen its competitiveness by focusing on its successful food service and food material distribution businesses, while also expanding into new areas such as dining-out and home meal replacement (HMR) products. CEO Kim Taewon said, "We will become the leading comprehensive food company in Korea by advancing our business portfolio." He also stated, "We aim to achieve the number one position in overseas sales among domestic companies through the development of globally exclusive brands," and added, "Through this, we will lead the globalization of K-food, including food services."
The company will also begin to create group-wide synergies in earnest. Ourhome will develop new business models by collaborating with Hanwha’s distribution service and technology affiliates. In particular, by working with Hanwha Robotics and Hanwha Foodtech, Ourhome will fully launch its 'kitchen automation' business, aiming to make this a turning point for innovation in production and logistics.
An Ourhome representative said, "We plan to pioneer new markets and maximize group-level synergies through collaboration with various affiliates in distribution, technology, and food tech," adding, "Through these efforts, we will further enhance Ourhome’s competitiveness."
