Korea Small and Medium Business Distribution Agency Donates Free Kids Cafe Vouchers for Underprivileged Infants and Young Children

"Taking the Lead in Social Responsibility of Public Institutions"

The Korea Small and Medium Business Distribution Agency announced on May 22 that it had delivered donated goods to the Yangcheon Sarang Welfare Foundation in celebration of Family Month in May.


The agency donated kids cafe vouchers, which can be used at the "Happy Department Store"?a retail store for small and medium-sized enterprise products operated directly by the agency in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul?to support the cultural and leisure activities of infants and young children from underprivileged local families.

Lee Taesik, CEO of the agency, stated, "The Korea Small and Medium Business Distribution Agency will continue to take the lead in fulfilling the social responsibilities of public institutions by supporting the establishment of a local social safety net and improving welfare for vulnerable groups, together with our executives and employees."


Meanwhile, the agency has been consistently engaging in various social contribution activities to practice public institution ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, such as donating funds for the restoration of wildfire-affected areas in Yeongnam and supporting cultural experiences for children from underprivileged local families.
