The Bank of Korea Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters announced on May 22 that it recently conducted industrial site visits and cultural experiences as part of the '2025 Bank of Korea Economic Masters' activities, which involve university students from the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions.
The Bank of Korea Economic Masters is a participatory economic education program organized by the Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters to provide local university students with diverse experiences and career development opportunities. The program has been held annually since 2019.
During this event, participants visited the AI Startup Camp, where they learned about the operation of AI startup support programs and the achievements of companies within the camp. This helped deepen their understanding of the AI industry ecosystem, which is a new growth engine for the region.
At the Asia Culture Center, participants joined an exhibition tour program at the Culture Creation Center, where they experienced a variety of cultural offerings, including special exhibitions featuring local artists, barrier-free exhibitions, and interactive exhibitions.
An official from the Bank of Korea Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters stated, "We will continue to actively provide local university students with various experiential opportunities and develop and operate programs that offer practical support for employment and career development."
