Haeyang Energy Donates 10 Million KRW to Dongshin University Development Fund

Dongshin University announced on May 21 that Haeyang Energy Co., Ltd. donated 10 million KRW as a development fund to support the cultivation of outstanding talent.

At a donation agreement ceremony held on the morning of May 20 in Seminar Room 1 of the Central Library at Dongshin University, Oh Gwangho, Director of Haeyang Energy, presented a certificate for the development fund to Song Kyungyong, Vice President for External Cooperation at Dongshin University, requesting that the funds be used for nurturing talent in fields such as new energy industries.

Since 2021, Haeyang Energy has donated 10 million KRW each year to Dongshin University as a development fund. Dongshin University has been focusing on the specialization of academic fields related to new energy industries and has been dedicated to fostering talent in the energy industry sector.

Song Kyungyong, Vice President for External Cooperation at Dongshin University, stated, "We deeply appreciate Haeyang Energy's continuous interest and support in growing together with the local community," adding, "We will do our utmost to cultivate competent professionals who can embody the corporate spirit of Haeyang Energy."

Oh Gwangho, Director of Haeyang Energy, said, "I am pleased that we can contribute to fostering outstanding talent who will lead the development of renewable energy and regional industries," and added, "We look forward to continuing mutual growth through ongoing collaboration with Dongshin University."
