To receive psychological counseling, individuals must obtain a referral, diagnosis, or opinion letter stating the need for counseling from a mental health welfare center, university counseling center, youth counseling and welfare center, Wee Center, or a psychiatric medical institution.

Afterward, applications can be submitted by visiting the local administrative welfare center or through the Bokjiro website or mobile app.

Once the application is completed, applicants will receive a "National Happiness Card" and be provided with a voucher for psychological counseling services, available up to eight times over 120 days. The voucher is divided into two types according to the qualifications of the service provider: Level 1 (80,000 won per session) and Level 2 (70,000 won per session). Depending on income level, the out-of-pocket payment per session ranges from 0% to 30%.

Citizens who used the service last year can also apply for the service by submitting the relevant supporting documents after their previous voucher period has ended. This project is operated so that anyone can select their preferred service provider anywhere in the country, regardless of their registered address, and a total of five counseling institutions have been designated in Jeongeup City.

The Level 1 provider in the region is ▲Serae Psychological Counseling Center, and the four Level 2 providers are ▲Kim Sunhee Couple and Family Counseling Center, ▲Ain Psychological Counseling and Education Center, ▲Daum Psychological Research Institute, and ▲Dda-sum Mind Counseling Center.

An official from the city public health center stated, "Psychological difficulties can happen to anyone, and we hope the National Mind Investment Support Project will provide practical support to protect the mental health of Jeongeup citizens," adding, "We will continue to create an environment where citizens can take care of their physical and mental health on their own."
