The Yeongdeok County Integrated Defense Council was recognized for its active participation in annual integrated defense exercises such as Hwarang Training and the Ulji Exercise, as well as for establishing a close cooperation system with related organizations including civil authorities, the military, police, and fire departments, thereby contributing to strengthening the region's security posture.

In particular, the council received high marks for its continuous efforts in fostering the reserve forces and building their foundation, specifically through the establishment of the Gangu Reserve Forces Company office, maintenance of the reserve training facility, and support for the operation of reserve units.
