Kim Moonsu, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, commented on former President Yoon Sukyeol's viewing of a film related to election fraud on the 21st, stating, "I will do my utmost to dispel suspicions of election fraud."

At the Korea Broadcasting Journalists Club presidential candidate debate held at the MBN Media Center in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on the morning of the same day, Kim was asked whether former President Yoon's viewing of the election fraud-related film might benefit the People Power Party's campaign. He responded with the aforementioned remarks.
Kim said, "I have not seen the film," but added, "However, elections in the Republic of Korea must be fair. If any voter raises suspicions of election fraud, the National Election Commission must provide explanations and continue efforts to clarify such suspicions."
Earlier that morning, former President Yoon attended a screening of a documentary film asserting election fraud at a theater in Dongdaemun, Seoul.
Regarding former President Yoon's declaration of martial law and impeachment, Kim stated, "I am, of course, opposed to martial law, and while I raised issues regarding the impeachment due to several procedural problems, I respect and accept the ruling of the Constitutional Court, as a decision has already been made."
He continued, "The Constitutional Court has already ruled on the unconstitutional aspects of martial law. As for the illegal aspects, the dispute is whether the martial law constitutes insurrection under criminal law, and since this is currently under review at the Seoul Central District Court, I will respect the ongoing proceedings."
Regarding his previous statement that the Constitutional Court's 8-0 decision to impeach former President Yoon was a "ruling of a communist state," Kim said, "My expression was excessive," and explained, "I thought it would be more democratic if minority opinions or other debates were revealed, but criticizing the Constitutional Court's decision itself was wrong. I respect the Constitutional Court's decision."
When asked whether he would sever ties with the Liberty Unification Party led by Pastor Jeon Kwanghun and similar groups, Kim replied, "The Democratic Party freely holds candlelight rallies, supports the illegal strikes of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, the Yellow Envelope Act, and even the Progressive Party. It is unfair to criticize only the People Power Party for external protest groups."
