The Seoul Regional Human Resources Development Committee under the Innobiz Association announced on May 20 that it had signed a multilateral business agreement with the Korea Labor Foundation and other organizations at the Seoul Western Middle-aged and Senior Employment Center in Guro-gu, Seoul, to support job creation and recruitment in the IT industry for middle-aged and older adults in the G Valley area.

This agreement was promoted in order to facilitate the reemployment of middle-aged and older adults in G Valley through collaboration among related organizations, and to establish a foundation that connects the workforce needs of companies with the capabilities of job seekers.

The main areas of cooperation include: joint planning of customized training and employment-linked programs for participants; joint research on information about companies with hiring needs and training demand; co-hosting of recruitment events such as job fairs; and establishing a cooperative system among organizations with regular operational meetings.

The Seoul HRD Committee plans to design IT workforce training programs based on corporate demand, while each organization will continue to provide employment support services, including discovering participating companies and job seekers and operating training programs.

Kim Hyungyoung, Co-Chair of the Seoul HRD Committee, stated, "Through this agreement, we can integrate the capabilities of experienced middle-aged and older adults into the IT sector and expand the supply of outstanding talent to more than 740 Innobiz companies and excellent small and medium-sized enterprises in the region."
