Marriage to Lee Yeonji Scheduled for June 15
Actor Lee Kwanggi's daughter, Yeonji, and national football team player Jung Wooyoung will get married on June 15.
On May 20, the Seoul Shinmun revealed the wedding invitation of Jung Wooyoung and Yeonji, the daughter of Lee Kwanggi, reporting that the couple will hold their wedding at a location in Seoul.

Jung Wooyoung, who plays in the German professional football Bundesliga, is currently preparing for the wedding in Korea after a quick recovery from an ankle injury he sustained in March. Since joining the South Korean national football team in 2021, he has consistently demonstrated outstanding skills on the international stage.
Lee Yeonji is the daughter of actor Lee Kwanggi and became known to the public by appearing on various entertainment programs with her father. The two were friends of the same age before developing feelings for each other and eventually falling in love.
Yeonji is reportedly working as an art director at the gallery run by her father, Lee Kwanggi. The wedding ceremony will be held privately, attended mainly by family and close relatives.
On the same day, Jung Wooyoung posted several wedding photos on his Instagram, writing, "I wanted to share the happiest news of my life with you directly, but I'm a bit disappointed that it was reported in the news first." He added, "I greet you with our wedding photos." He continued, "I have met someone I love and have promised to spend my life together with her. I am grateful to everyone who has blessed us. Please continue to watch over us with warm hearts. We will live happily together."
Lee Kwanggi debuted as a child actor in 1985 through the KBS drama "The Hill Where the Sun Rises," and became widely known to the public in 2000 through "Taejo Wang Geon." His notable works include "Rustic Period," "Jeong Dojeon," and "Taejong Lee Bangwon." Recently, he has transformed into an art director, running a gallery in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, and holding numerous exhibitions.
Born in 1999, forward Jung Wooyoung came from the K League 1 Incheon United U-18 team and Daegun High School, making his European debut by joining Bayern Munich, a powerhouse in Germany, in 2018. He made a strong impression in the Bundesliga while playing for Freiburg (2019-2023) and Stuttgart (2023-2024), and ahead of this season, he chose to move on loan to Union Berlin. As a member of the U23 national team, he won a gold medal at the 2022 Asian Games and also played for the national team at the 2023 AFC Asian Cup in Qatar.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that the wedding ceremony will be hosted by broadcaster Yoo Jaeseok.
