Over 230 Private Subsidy Recipients Attend Training

Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province conducted 'Practical Training on Local Subsidy Management' for private subsidy recipients at the Changwon Football Center from May 19 to 20.

This training was organized to strengthen the practical accounting skills of private subsidy recipients and to enhance transparency and accountability in the subsidy execution process. A total of approximately 230 private subsidy recipients participated, and the training was held four times according to the type of recipient.


The lecture was delivered by Cho Yangje, a co-administrator of the Naver Cafe 'Budget and Accounting Practice' and an expert in the field of budget and accounting, who also serves as the director of the Busan Institute for Budget and Accounting Practice. The session focused on guidelines for managing local subsidies, instructions on how to use the 'Botam-e System,' and examples of audit findings by type, all explained in an easy-to-understand manner.


In particular, the training provided practical guidance on cases of fraudulent subsidy claims and prevention methods, repeatedly emphasizing the importance of understanding relevant regulations and transparent accounting practices.


Seo Hogwan, Director of the Welfare, Women, and Health Bureau, stated, "Through this training, we hope to enhance the on-site accounting expertise of private subsidy recipients and proactively prevent any leakage of welfare budgets." He added, "We will continue to make various efforts to ensure responsible management of welfare finances in the future."
