Conducted at 11 Advance Polling Stations in the County
Gokseong County in South Jeolla Province announced on May 20 that it is conducting a "mock advance voting test" at 11 advance polling stations in the county to ensure the smooth operation of the 21st presidential election's advance voting.
The mock advance voting test is being conducted three times: following the session on May 19, it will also take place on May 21 and May 28. The main objectives are to prepare in advance for the printing of ballots and voter lists, and to address potential communication network failures caused by power outages.
The county plans to use this mock test to check on-site preparations, verify the accuracy of related tasks, and ensure the stability of the system, with the aim of creating a fair and transparent election environment.
In addition, to encourage local residents to participate in the election until election day, the county will make full use of banners, social media promotions, and village broadcasts to boost voter turnout.
