This agreement was established to expand vocational education opportunities for mid- to long-term discharged veterans and to enhance their practical employment competitiveness. The two institutions agreed to actively cooperate in building a customized support system that strengthens the connection between education and employment.
Kim Jong-sul, head of the Daegu Regional Veterans Office, stated, "Through this agreement, I hope that an effective career transition support system will be established, enabling education and employment to be naturally connected." He added, "The Veterans Office will also do its utmost to provide customized programs and practical training opportunities tailored to the needs of discharged veterans."
The Veterans Support Center operates a variety of programs for mid- to long-term discharged veterans who have served for five years or more, including employment and entrepreneurship workshops, specialized commissioned education, support for career transition allowances, and vocational competency development training expenses.
