Nationwide donations for the recovery of wildfire damage in Yeongdeok County, North Gyeongsang Province, have been steadily continuing.
Financial contributions and relief supplies sent from all walks of life are providing significant comfort and hope to the affected residents.

From May 14 to 19, Korea Environment Corporation donated 30 million won and 1,000 spoon and chopstick sets; Lee Sangok, CEO of NineN and standing member of the National Unification Advisory Council, donated 30 million won; Chae Yunseok, CEO of Daeseung Engineering, donated 20 million won; the International Lions Club Sejong Chungnam District donated 15 million won; the North Gyeongsang Provincial Association of the Korean Senior Citizens Association donated 310 sacks of rice worth 13 million won; Yeongdeok Electrical Contractors Association, Human CND CEO Park Eunjong, Globiz Logistics, and Yeongwol Fire Station Volunteer Fire Brigade Association each donated 10 million won; and Daewoo Lucoms CEO Yoon Chungi donated 10 computer sets worth 10 million won, all in support of Yeongdeok County.
In addition, the Korea Gas Inspection Agency Association donated 7 million won; the Yeongdeok County Village Head Association and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Crop Protection Product Sales Cooperative each donated 5 million won; Yeju OB Football Club, the 69th Class of Yeongdeok Middle and High School Alumni Association in Seoul, the Economic and Science Subcommittee of the National Unification Advisory Council, the Korean Women Architects Association, and the Pyeongtaek Jaepyeong Yeongnam Residents' Association each donated 3 million won; Hwang Inseon, the 21st-generation descendant of Hwang Uijeongseung of the Jangsu Hwang clan, along with 42 others, donated 2.62 million won; the Yeongdeok County Taekwondo Association and the Jaepo Changsumyeon Residents' Association each donated 2 million won; and Um Seonhwa, president of I-Korea Yeongdeok County, as well as the Yeongdeok Acoustic Guitar Club, each donated 1 million won, showing their warm support.
Kim Gwangyeol, the county governor, said, "I am deeply moved by the fact that so many people have come together for our county, which has faced a major crisis," and added, "We will never forget the sincerity contained in each donation and item sent, and we will do our utmost to ensure that the affected residents can quickly return to their daily lives by taking full responsibility for the recovery until the end."
Donations for the recovery of wildfire damage in Yeongdeok County can be made through general donations to the Yeongdeok Welfare Foundation or through designated donations for the Hometown Love Donation Program via Gohyang Sarang e-Eum Na Wigi Bureu.
