Pocheon City Holds Mid-term Report Meeting on Urban Corporation Organization Diagnosis, Accelerates Search for Innovation Measures

Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Younghyun) announced on the 20th that it held the mid-term report meeting for the '2025 Pocheon Urban Corporation Organization Diagnosis Research Project' at the city administration conference room on the 19th.

During the mid-term report meeting, the participants shared the progress of the ongoing organizational diagnosis research project aimed at ensuring efficient operation of Pocheon Urban Corporation, and gathered a wide range of opinions. The meeting was attended by Baek Younghyun, mayor of Pocheon, as well as heads of the city’s consignment departments, the president of Pocheon Urban Corporation, and other related officials.

The research project covers several areas: presenting an organizational model and appropriate staffing levels (headcount) based on analysis of environmental changes and job functions within the corporation; proposing a rational organizational model through comparison with other corporations and public institutions; suggesting organizational restructuring plans to enhance management efficiency and accommodate future facility expansion and business growth; and recommending additional efficiency measures.

The heads of consignment departments and other officials in attendance emphasized the need to establish an integrated organizational management system and appropriate staffing standards for Pocheon Urban Corporation, expressing their hope that the research project will yield realistic and feasible organizational improvement measures.

Pocheon City plans to continue gathering feedback from each department and related organizations, supplement the data, and successfully complete the organizational diagnosis research project.
