Min Hyungbae Announces Policy Proposals at "K-Initiative 21" Presentation Min Hyungbae, Member of the National Assembly.

The policy proposals for "K-Initiative 21," a national strategic agenda designed to lead the future of the Republic of Korea, will be unveiled at 6:00 p.m. on May 20 in the Grand Conference Hall of the National Assembly Members' Office Building. This presentation is organized by the K-Initiative Committee, a policy planning body jointly participated in by political parties, the government, academia, and industry, and operating directly under the presidential candidate Lee Jaemyung.

"K-Initiative 21," chaired by Min Hyungbae, a member of the National Assembly (Gwangju Gwangsan-eul, Democratic Party of Korea), has been designed as a comprehensive national strategy to secure global leadership for Korea in the face of three major crises: the growth ceiling, regional and class imbalances, and the global technological hegemony competition. At the presentation, 21 national agendas, developed with the participation of over 350 experts, will be unveiled for the first time.

The policy proposals forming the foundation of this event are noteworthy in that they are not merely slogans or declarations, but are structured as policy packages that include concrete feasibility and export strategies. In particular, growth agendas based on advanced technologies such as AI, semiconductors, autonomous driving, humanoids, culture, and beauty, as well as foundational strategies such as regional balance, digital talent, democracy, and regulatory reform, are organically interconnected to target Korea’s structural transformation.

The policy proposals also introduce an implementation roadmap that includes legal and institutional improvements, budget design, and global cooperation strategies to ensure that each initiative can be realized in practice.

Min Hyungbae, Chair of the K-Initiative Committee, stated, "I hope that the 21 tasks proposed by our committee will become the core driving force for Korea’s new leap forward and sustainable growth, transcending parties and ideologies to lead the world," adding, "I expect K-Initiative 21 to make a substantial contribution to the formulation of the next government's national vision."
