This project targets technoparks outside the Seoul metropolitan area, providing support of up to 1.5 billion won per project for a maximum of 18 months. Its goal is to strengthen the technological competitiveness and product reliability of local companies by establishing new equipment and advancing the functions of existing equipment.

Based on a preliminary demand survey, the province decided to introduce a "600kV medium-to-large 3D X-ray scanner" that can be jointly used by small and medium-sized enterprises. This equipment will enable precise inspection of medium and large products and components, and is expected to make a significant contribution to enhancing product quality and reliability for companies in the province.

In particular, this project is drawing attention as it is expected to provide practical support for boosting the technological capabilities of Jeonbuk's key industries, such as the intelligent machinery parts industry for special purposes and advanced energy industries including hydrogen and secondary batteries.

Jeonbuk Technopark plans to establish a tailored quality inspection support system for companies?covering everything from small to medium and large products?by linking the newly introduced equipment with existing X-ray 3D scanners, and to build an integrated, one-stop product quality advancement support system utilizing digital 3D convergence technology throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Yoon Seyoung, Director of Bio-Defense Industry Division, said, "Through this project, we aim to enhance the quality competitiveness and technological reliability of small and medium-sized enterprises in the province, and to lay the foundation for the advancement of the region's key industries."
