Shinan County Achieves 10th Place in Provincial Government Joint Evaluation

10 Places Up in Two Years
Securing Additional Fiscal Rewards

Shinan County in South Jeolla Province achieved 10th place within the province in the 2025 Government Joint Evaluation (based on 2024 performance), which is conducted annually under the Framework Act on Government Performance Evaluation to enhance the outcomes of major national tasks and government policies.

According to the county on May 20, this achievement is attributed to regular and ad-hoc situation briefings held throughout the past year, as well as continuous efforts to improve unreasonable evaluation indicators.

Last year, the county ranked 15th in the province (based on 2023 performance), but this year, it climbed five places, making a significant jump of ten places over the past two years. As a result of these efforts, Shinan County received an award for outstanding local government from South Jeolla Province, securing additional funding for fiscal projects.

Lee Jeongsoo, Director of Planning, stated, "Achieving such good results in this joint evaluation proves that our county administration is continuously developing and that the quality of our administrative services is objectively recognized as excellent. We will do our utmost to further improve the quality of life and satisfaction of our residents."
