Ottogi Launches Limited Edition "Jin Ramen Mild Spicy"... Settling the Jin Mild vs. Jin Spicy Debate

Limited Quantity Release at Convenience Stores and Online Malls After Early Launch on Coupang

Ottogi announced on May 20 that it will launch a limited edition of its new product, "Jin Ramen Mild Spicy," which combines the strengths of its flagship Jin Ramen Mild and Jin Ramen Spicy flavors.

Jin Ramen Mild Spicy features a rich, savory Korean-style broth made with New Zealand beef bone and brisket stock simmered for over 13 hours. The product is expected to satisfy the tastes of all consumers who enjoy ramen, thanks to its moderately delicious level of spiciness. In addition, the packaging uses a purple color that combines the blue and red colors of the existing Jin Ramen packages.

This product will be available as a five-pack multi-pack, with a total of 600,000 units released as a limited edition. Sales will begin on Coupang on May 26, and from June, it will be available at convenience stores and online malls nationwide.

An Ottogi representative stated, "Recently, recipes combining the mild and spicy flavors have been trending on social networking services (SNS), leading to a steady stream of requests for a new product reflecting this trend. We hope that Jin Ramen Mild Spicy will allow consumers to enjoy Jin Ramen in more diverse ways and experience the fun of a new flavor."
