Yongsan-gu Operates "Mobile One-Stop Employment and Labor Law Counseling Office" at Sookdaeipgu Station

Yongsan-gu, Seoul is operating a "Mobile Employment Counseling Office" at Sookdaeipgu Station on Subway Line 4 to provide practical employment support and protect the labor rights of job seekers and workers.

The counseling office will be open on the 21st and 28th of this month, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., during evening hours. Anyone seeking employment or a job change who visits the subway station after work can receive on-site, one-on-one customized counseling without a reservation. Professional career counselors from Yongsan-gu will participate to provide practical employment support services, including resume and cover letter consulting, job analysis, and customized job information.


In particular, this counseling office will operate as a one-stop service in collaboration with the Yongsan-gu Labor Comprehensive Support Center, offering labor law consultations in addition to employment counseling. Various labor-related concerns, such as wage arrears, severance pay, working hours, dismissal, and industrial accidents, can also be addressed through free consultations with certified labor attorneys.


The Yongsan-gu Labor Comprehensive Support Center has been regularly operating the "Mobile Subway Labor Counseling" at Sookdaeipgu Station every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., from March to November this year. In May, the sessions are held on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th. This program is designed to allow workers and job seekers who have difficulty visiting during weekday daytime hours to receive counseling conveniently on their way home from work.


If you are unable to attend the scheduled counseling sessions, you can receive counseling at any time during weekday business hours (09:00~18:00) at the Job Plus Center on the first floor of Yongsan-gu Office. Inquiries are also accepted by phone (080-019-1919).


Park Heeyoung, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, stated, "We have set up the counseling office at a subway station that anyone can easily visit to support the practical concerns of job seekers and workers," and added, "We will continue to discover quality jobs and expand mobile employment services so that residents can find the jobs they want."
