Two Injured, Two Presumed Dead

The police have launched a manhunt for a man in his 50s of Chinese nationality who stabbed two citizens with a weapon at a convenience store and a park in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, and then fled the scene. During the investigation, two bodies were discovered at the suspect's residence and in the surrounding area.
According to the Siheung Police Station on May 19, the suspect, identified as A, stabbed a woman in her 60s, B, who owns a convenience store in Jeongwang-dong, Siheung, at around 9:34 a.m. that day and fled. B sustained serious injuries to her abdomen and face and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Upon receiving the report, the police responded to the scene and began an investigation after identifying A's physical characteristics using CCTV footage. However, due to the poor quality of the footage, they were only able to confirm that A was wearing a white mask, and could not determine any other specific physical features or clothing details.
Believing this to be a weapon rampage incident involving a Chinese national, the police assessed the case as serious and mobilized all available personnel for the investigation. During this process, they identified a vehicle passing in front of the convenience store at the time of the incident as the possible suspect vehicle and confirmed the owner's identity through a vehicle registration check.
According to the police, the vehicle owner was confirmed to be the suspect, A. At around 11:00 a.m., officers went to his registered address and, upon opening the door, discovered an unidentified body inside the residence. The body was estimated to have been deceased for several days. Since A was not present in the home, police considered the possibility of additional incidents and resumed their search.
At approximately 1:21 p.m. the same day, A stabbed a man in his 70s, C, with a weapon at a sports park about 2 kilometers from the convenience store where the initial crime occurred. C also suffered severe injuries, including abdominal stab wounds, and was transported to the hospital.
The police are investigating the motive for A's attack on C and how A traveled to the sports park. At around 2:00 p.m., another unidentified body was found in a house across from the convenience store where the first incident occurred. Police believe that a total of four people were either killed or injured in connection with these incidents and are continuing their search for the suspect.
