The "100-Year Longevity Village Certification Project," first launched in 2024, is a social contribution initiative that selects villages near the power plant where residents aged 100 or older live, and provides congratulatory gifts and supports village celebrations.
In 2024, the project visited a total of seven centenarians in seven villages in the Donggyeongju area. It was organized to address concerns about the health of residents living near the nuclear power plant.
Jung Wonho, Head of Wolseong Headquarters, said, "We are deeply grateful to see the grandmother in such good health, and Wolseong Headquarters will continue to work together so that all local residents can live healthily to the age of 100."
Wolseong Headquarters is focusing on projects with high community impact, such as providing health checkups for residents, supporting medical expenses for vulnerable groups, and developing apps to improve residents' understanding of radiation.
