Sejong University Selected as Operating Institution for 'Seoul My College'

Strengthening the Status as a Leading University in Future Education

On May 20, Sejong University Future Education Center announced that it has been selected as the operating institution for the '2025 Seoul My Coloraji' project, organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Lifelong Education Promotion Agency.

Through this selection, Sejong University Future Education Center will operate the 'AI Culture Life Academy,' a convergent vocational education program for middle-aged and older adults.

'Seoul My College' is a flagship vocational lifelong education project promoted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The project aims to help middle-aged citizens flexibly adapt to rapidly changing job environments and achieve successful career transitions and competency enhancement.

The 'AI Culture Life Academy,' designed by Sejong University Future Education Center, is a customized educational program that integrates three fields: artificial intelligence (AI), food and beverage (F&B), and cultural content.

This program is designed to enable middle-aged and older adults to systematically acquire practical job skills required in the era of digital transformation.

Sejong University plans to provide opportunities for developing creative and professional job competencies, leveraging its excellent educational infrastructure and team of expert instructors.

Lee Dongil, Director of Sejong University Future Education Center, stated, "I hope that middle-aged and older adults will develop creative job skills through lifelong education in this rapidly changing society," and added, "We will actively support them so they can further grow into professionals who can contribute actively to the local community."

Meanwhile, the 'AI Culture Life Academy' is open free of charge to all Seoul citizens and residents within the Seoul metropolitan area. Applications for the program are accepted from May 20 to September 6.
