Hanseo University Prepares to Lead the K-Aviation Era

Official Declaration to Become a Global Aviation Education Hub

Hanseo University has begun a bold new journey to become a driving force in the era of K-Aviation. The university has officially declared its ambition to emerge as the 'K-Aviation Global Aviation Education Hub University,' leading the future of South Korea's aviation industry.

On May 20, Hanseo University announced its plans to pursue comprehensive innovation across education, research, industry-academia cooperation, and internationalization. The university presented an ambitious blueprint to elevate the nation's aviation competitiveness in close collaboration with Chungcheongnam-do, and to lead the era of future air mobility (UAM/AAM).

In particular, Hanseo University will focus on fostering UAM/AAM, MRO, aviation professional training, regional value creation, and the establishment of an industrial cluster through the K-Aviation platform. Through its partnership with Chungcheongnam-do, the university aims to invigorate the local economy and contribute to creating new growth engines for South Korea's aviation industry.

Previously, Hanseo University was designated as an 'Aviation Specialized University' by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and obtained certification as a 'Comprehensive Aviation Education Institution.' Internationally, the university holds ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) university program certification.

In addition, Hanseo University is a full member of ALICANTO (International Association of Aviation and Aerospace Education) and has been selected as the top aerospace education institution by the FAI (F?d?ration A?ronautique Internationale), thereby securing a unique international standing.
