Dongmyung University held a signing ceremony and launch event for the 'Local TU Biz-up Council' with 11 local companies in Busan, aiming to promote entrepreneurship based on the region and contribute to local economic development.
The participating promising local companies in this council include Rocket Film, Jeongseonggitdeun, Dasi Busan, Seed, Houseum, Plan B Culture and Arts Cooperative, Bclip, Labode, Monolink, Itsbee, and Local by Local.
Each company has agreed to collaborate with the Dongmyung University Local Content-Focused University Project Group to continue joint efforts to foster the local startup ecosystem and revitalize the regional economy.
Noh Seongyeo, head of the Dongmyung University Local Content-Focused University Project Group and professor in the Department of Entrepreneurship, said, "It is meaningful to establish a close cooperation system with outstanding local companies in the region. By combining the university's capabilities in supporting startups with the innovative ideas of these companies, we will actively support regional entrepreneurship and contribute to economic revitalization."
The council plans to promote various collaborative projects, including providing students with field training and internship opportunities, offering special lectures and mentoring on entrepreneurship, and discovering and supporting the commercialization of joint projects.
