The Sanggo Cultural Festival was designed with the hope that, true to its name?'Sang' meaning 'always' and 'Go' meaning 'to think'?children would develop the ability to think independently and experience the joy of expressing their thoughts freely and in diverse ways.

The main program of the event, the Drawing Contest, was held under the theme "A Happy Future with Energy" and was open to local elementary school students. A total of 64 works were awarded. The winning entries will be compiled into a collection for distribution and will also be exhibited at the Hanul Energy Farm.

In addition, five different experience booths were operated, including traditional folk games and an SMR sticker puzzle. The outdoor stage at Hanul Energy Farm featured a variety of performances such as a traditional tightrope walking show, a magic show, and a bubble show, adding to the festive atmosphere. Inside Hanul Energy Farm, a "Letter of Love" writing event was held, providing families with a warm opportunity to share heartfelt messages.

One parent commented, "I was pleased that there was an event where elementary school students from Uljin could gather and participate. There were so many diverse programs in addition to the drawing contest that, after joining at 10 a.m., my child was fully engaged and entertained until the prize drawing ended at 5 p.m. without a single dull moment. I'm already looking forward to seeing what programs will be offered at the Sanggo Cultural Festival in the fall."

An elderly participant shared, "I came because I heard there would be a tightrope walking performance and folk games. At first, I felt shy since it seemed to be mostly for children, but as I enjoyed the various experiences and performances, I was able to reminisce about my childhood and spend a lively day."

Director Lee Seyong stated, "It was heartwarming to see families enjoying the Sanggo Cultural Festival together from morning until the end of the event, which was organized with the hope that children's small ideas and expressions will lead to even greater dreams in the future. For the autumn edition of the Sanggo Cultural Festival, we will return with differentiated programs?including a piano competition and an essay contest?to discover artistic talents in Uljin-gun, as well as unique events that even seniors can enjoy."
