The Chungnam Office of Education announced that it held the 18th World Day of Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development event on the morning of the 19th at the first floor Antruek of the Office of Education, with the participation of all employees.

'World Day of Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development' is a commemorative day aimed at fostering understanding and respect for different cultures and building a society where people live together. The event was held as a small-scale cultural program with the participation of all employees of the provincial Office of Education.

The event began with a piano performance by Han Hyesun, a pianist and international conference interpreter from Laos. This was followed by performances from violinist Son Yuna, who majored in Russian and music in Kyrgyzstan, and cellist Son Yeo-eun, delivering a deeply moving experience.

In particular, the Dasom Choir of Asan City Family Center, which is composed of women from both multicultural and non-multicultural families, also participated and delivered a congratulatory choral performance that expressed the value of "harmony and unity in diversity" through music.

Kim Ji-cheol, Superintendent of Chungnam Office of Education, emphasized "a future for Chungnam education where differences become possibilities, not discrimination," and stated, "Difference itself is beauty, and Chungnam education will continue on the path of learning and growing together."

The Chungnam Office of Education plans to continue pursuing practical and sustainable policies, such as creating an educational environment that fosters multicultural sensitivity, expanding customized educational support for students from migrant backgrounds, and enhancing the educational capacity of multicultural education policy schools, so that all students, including those with migrant backgrounds, can be respected and grow together.
