KB Golden Life Care, a nursing care subsidiary of KB Life, announced on May 19 that it has officially begun operating its premium nursing facility, 'Eunpyeong Village,' located in Eunpyeong District, Seoul.
This opening is significant as it marks the first premium nursing care facility in the northern part of Seoul. It is expected to serve as a key hub in KB Financial Group's strategy to expand its senior business portfolio.

Eunpyeong Village is the third nursing facility introduced by KB Golden Life Care, following those in Wirye and Seocho. It can accommodate a total of 144 residents. Situated at the foot of Bukhansan Mountain, it offers a pleasant natural environment. The facility also provides both accessibility and convenience within the city. Inside, the latest Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart care system has been implemented to meticulously manage the health of elderly residents.
The 'KB Golden Life Care Academy,' an educational facility designed to systematically train professional caregivers, also opened alongside the new facility. By operating field-oriented training programs, the company aims to enhance the expertise of care staff and the quality of its services.
The opening ceremony was attended by Jeong Moonchul, CEO of KB Life; Kim Mikyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong District; Kim Youngsun, Professor of Gerontology at Kyung Hee University; Shigeru Ando, Director of Sompo Care in Japan; and various other dignitaries.
Kim Mikyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong District, stated, "Eunpyeong Village will become a new welfare hub that brings happiness to the local community. I hope it serves as a good example of how the public and private sectors can cooperate to meet the growing demand for care."

KB Golden Life Care plans to steadily expand its nursing care infrastructure this year. 'Gwanggyo Village' is scheduled to open in August, followed by 'Gangdong Village' in October.
