Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (President Song Pilho) announced on May 19 that it conducted the '2025 Disaster Relief Specialist Training Program' for 42 public officials in charge of disaster relief in Sejong City at the main conference room of Sejong Special Self-Governing City Hall.
This training was organized to enhance the expertise of public officials responsible for disaster relief and to help them prepare for and respond to disasters more effectively.
Participants completed a total of seven hours of combined theoretical and practical training with expert instructors. The curriculum covered understanding the disaster relief system, the roles of specialists, psychological support, public-private cooperation and relief activity systems, as well as first aid and CPR.
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, stated, "I hope this training will provide practical help in strengthening the on-site response capabilities of public officials responsible for disaster relief," and added, "Hope Bridge will continue to strengthen cooperation with local governments and provide effective training programs in the future."
