Customized Employment Support by Major
Tailored Programs Reflecting Department Characteristics
Dong-A University is receiving positive feedback from students by strengthening its major-specific career and employment support.
Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo) is operating the "On-the-Go Customized Employment Support Program for Each College and Department" from this month until December.

This program aims to provide employment support tailored to the characteristics of each department, helping students develop job search strategies linked to their majors.
This year, more than 50 departments are expected to participate, and over 100 special lectures will be held. The lectures consist of "department-customized employment lectures" and "job lectures by current professionals or alumni," giving students the opportunity to gain job information and employment strategies relevant to their respective majors.
Last year, a total of 4,216 students from 42 departments?including Nursing, Health Management, Architectural Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Urban Engineering, Child Studies, and Physical Education?participated in the program and reported high satisfaction.
Jang Jihae, a fourth-year student in the Department of Child Studies who participated in the special lectures, said, "Through the department-customized employment lectures, I learned about jobs suited to my major, and gained great confidence in preparing for employment through conversations with current professionals."
Shin Yongtaek, Director of Student and Career Support at Dong-A University, stated, "It is important to provide students with opportunities to obtain job and industry information relevant to their majors," adding, "We will continue to strengthen customized support so that more students can make practical preparations for employment."
Director Shin also added, "Through this program, we will do our best to help students develop the competencies needed in the field and gain access to a wider range of employment opportunities."
